2002-12-05 - Ready for Christmas release 0.3

We are finally ready with a new feature release. We have been working hard for several short periods of time during the last months, so we could get some exciting features to work. These new features include

  • Configure the list of EXIF properties to display.
  • Zoomable photo display (right click and drag left/right - try this out!)
  • Internationalization support - JDAI now supports English and Danish locales.
  • Preliminary support for drag/drop - use with care.

The zoomable photo display is implemented using the Piccolo Toolkit. Download this exciting new JDAI release from the download area below! A few new screenshots have been added as well.

2002-08-13 - Consolidating release 0.2

No fancy new features this time, but hopefully a stabilized version of the JDAI Explorer. Still, we did include support for Nikon Maker Notes - others will hopefully follow. Hurry to the download area and try this one out before your neighbor! Remember: Beta quality, so use at your own risk.

2002-07-26 - Mayday, mayday - it's time for JDAI!

After just about two weeks of development we are ready for the first public release of the Java Digital Album Infrastructure. The software is considered Beta quality, so use at your own risk.

2002-07-19 - The first week - we have a screenshot!

Well - it's been one week since project launch, and we've been working hard to put something together. We're not quite ready for an alpha release yet, but take a look at the screenshot for a first impression.

2002-07-12 - Project launched

Friday afternoon Jeppe and Mikkel decided to launch the JDAI project. Ideas had been exchanged for a while and after a short design meeting the decision was made.
